cooliris is cool!
A visual tool for browsing and searching collections of stuff. Great for sifting through YouTube videos!
I think I’ll leave the cooliris folks to summarise what it is/does…

Educational application? You bet! Sorting, sifting, browsing (in the old sense), displaying visual works… I’m sure there are numerous contexts where this tool could be used to enhance a learning experience. Could collections on a media server have this type of interface enabled?
The iPhone app for cooliris is pretty neat too!
