This area brings together all existing e-learning activity in the University and has Learning Technologists who are based in Faculties, in the Teaching and Learning Directorate and those linked to JISC funded projects, at its core.
We provide support to turn innovative ideas into reality, share research informed best practice, and offer guidance through the process of creating pedagogically sound online learning resources. We also support and develop a range of cross institutional initiatives such as embedding e-Portfolio, plagiarism detection and Computer Aided Assessment systems, as well as developing systems to promote Reusable Learning Objects and Web2.0 technologies.
